Muslim Ban: Don’t Believe the Hype & Hysteria

The media is, as usual, acting like the fear mongers they are and lying the the american public when covering the "Muslim Ban".

As usual, the media is doing everything they can to divide this nation. Outlets like CNN, MSNBC, & the rest of the driven by liberal media are stirring the pot of hysteria, and the sheep are eating it up willingly.

Calling this a Muslim Ban is laughable. It just shows how little they care about covering the truth. They must think the american public is pretty stupid… and so far the public has given them no reason not to.

Across the nation, headlines are sprouting up that read, “TRUMP CRAFTS EXECUTIVE ORDER BANNING ALL MUSLIMS.” The propaganda wing of the Democratic Party (CNN) stoked the fires of discontent by blasting out this doozie, “Trump bans 134,000,000 from the U.S,” and their gullible minions took the bait.

Now people are back to marching in the streets once again, and as usual, when asked what they are protesting, they either have no clue or respond by saying, “Trump’s Ban on all Muslims.” Aren’t they good little sheep. I even saw an image with a child holding a sign that read, “What did the Muslims do to you?” I got an idea, why doesn’t that kid ask that question to the thousands of people around the world that have been slaughtered, raped, burned, and beaten by Muslims.

Now before you get your panties in a bunch, we are not saying that all Muslims are bad. That would be ridiculous. That’s an uneducated argument perpetrated by the left. I want to know what is wrong with instituting extreme vetting procedures for countries that house individuals that would sooner kill you than share the air in a room with you.

What Trump is saying, and the millions that voted for him are saying, is let’s temporarily halt the process until we are certain we have proper vetting procedures in place. It’s a 90-day ban, that DOES NOT include all Muslim countries. The temporary ban stops people from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen from entering the U.S., because they are countries under the control of jihadist governments or have been ripped apart by jihadist violence.

What the Hell is wrong with that? We are talking about common sense. I’ll ask you a quick and easy question. “What is the job of the President?”  I’ll answer that for you. His job is to protect the American people, and that is exactly what he is doing. People are only being detained at the airport if they come from one of the seven Muslim countries listed above, so their visas can be verified. Trump’s Executive Order entails:

  • A temporary halt on refugee admission for 120 days
  • Improving the vetting process
  • Capping refugee admission at 50,000 per year. (15-year norm, with the exception of Obama)
  • 90-day ban on people entering from the seven countries listed above

I don’t recall seeing this kind of uproar when President Obama suspended the Iraq Refugee Program for six months over terrorism fears in 2011? Can you say Hypocrisy? And, if you’re one to believe that this is against the Constitution, let me quickly set you straight. U.S. Code 1182 Inadmissible Aliens (Suspension of Entry or imposition of restrictions by President) states: “Whenever the President finds that the entry of any alien or any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

All we are saying, before you get angry, before you make your cute signs, and before you hit the streets, how about getting educated and knowing exactly what you’re fighting for first.  I’m all for free speech, protesting, and taking a stand for what you believe in, but I do not support useful idiots and sheep who blindly march to the beat of a biased media and political operatives who are hell bent on creating hysteria and dividing us.

I’m a writer based out of East Village, Manhattan. I work from my condo and local coffee shops (and a few restaurants with menus that are more unhealthy than licking a subway railing), meeting friends who have boats or boat access, touring the zoo for the zoo to visit my ex-boyfriends, and forcing my political beliefs on others at social events (kidding, don’t be one of those people.
