Disney is continuing their trend of reviving successful, old animated films into Hollywood Blockbuster action films with Beauty and the Beast, and to the joy of many fans the first movie trailer was just released!

The new Beauty and the Beast is directed by Oscar® winner Bill Condon, and stars Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as The Beast and Luke Evans as Gaston. The music will be just as enchanting and memorable as the animated film, with eight-time Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken as producer. Menken won Academy Awards® for Best Original Socre and Best Song for the 1991 animated Disney film. The films score will include new recordings of the original songs which have been written by Menken and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice.

The star-studded cast and crew of actors, musicians, and directors will be sure not to disappoint when they bring the various objects found in the castle to life using CGI. It will be quite interesting to see how the live-action and CGI blend together to re-create the timeless classic Disney fairy tale for a modern movie audience with high expectations. As the film trailer reveals, Beauty and the Beast will be magical on the level that only Disney can pull off.
